Privacy Policy

General

81qd takes your privacy seriously. This notice informs you about 81qd’s data collection and use practices for its products and services (our “Services”), and data 81qd collects when you visit our website (the “Site”). It also informs you how to contact us with any questions you may have.

Data We Collect For Our Services

81qd collects information from or about individuals in several ways. We may collect data directly from individuals who choose to participate in surveys we conduct or from medical and research professionals who choose to be included in our databases or research groups (“Participants”). 81qd also collects data from individuals who register to use our Services and agree to our Terms of Service when doing so (“Clients”). Clients may further process data they own about individuals on or through our Services. From time to time, 81qd may also collect contact information of selected professionals in the medical, health, or pharmaceutical industries who have either agreed to their information being so collected or otherwise made their information available for us to contact them for business or professional purposes (“Professionals”).

81qd considers Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) to be information that clearly and directly identifies a particular individual, such as their name, email address, physical address, phone number, or government issued identifier such as a social security number. That which does not clearly or directly identify a particular individual 81qd regards as non-Personally Identifiable Information (“non-PII”). 81qd may collect non-PII from Clients or Participants when they use our Services. We collect this information for the purpose of providing our services, for ensuring the security and operability of our Services, and to update and improve upon our services or to provide new services.

81qd collects both PII and non-PII from our Services. Some of the non-PII we may collect include device or browser information we obtain through the use of cookies and similar technologies. Our Clients, subject to our Terms of Service and in accordance with applicable laws, may also provide non-PII about individuals, such as de-identified patient identifiers for processing on or through our Services. Unless otherwise agreed to, 81qd does not retain ownership or control of the non-PII our Clients may load onto and process through our Services. 81qd may further process, aggregate, or de-identify any PII or non-PII we collect through our Services about Participants or Professionals and sell, license or otherwise disclose these data to our Clients or third parties for their own business purposes. Participants can choose to limit our collection, use, and sharing of their data by opting out of our services or by contacting 81qd through the following form: http://www.81qd.com/contact/. 81qd may use any information we collect from our Services for the purposes of monitoring or improving the use of our Services.

At times, our Services may provide links through which Clients can access other websites. 81qd does not transfer Client or Participant data to these websites through these links. Before using the services of these websites, Clients or Participants should read the privacy notices of the website or service they access to understand their practices.

We may, however, aggregate the non-PII we collect and use it for our own marketing purposes. 81qd does not respond to your browser’s DNT tracking signals at this time.

81qd may also collect your PII from our Site if you choose to provide it to us. Our Site requires you to provide your PII before you can contact us with a complaint or question, or before you can download a whitepaper or research material.
